Review of Mockingjay (The Hunger Games #3) by Suzanne Collins

Mockingjay (The Hunger Games #3) by Suzanne Collins

This is the final book of the The Hunger Games Trilogy and is the fast paced and epic finish to the story.

Katniss Everdeen has survived the hunger games twice now in the same number of years. Even through she has made it through the hunger games and she has made it out of the bloody arena alive she is still not safe. And to make it worse the Capitol is angry and they want revenge.

And guess who they think should pay for the unrest in the districts - yes your right Katniss. President Snow has again made it clear that nobody else is safe either. Not from the other districts, the capitol, Katniss's friends and family. Katniss has been taken into the folds of the rebellion and is one of the first to volunteer when there is any fact finding mission. She has also made it her number one priroty to make the president pay.

The book is the least favourite of the trilogy but felt it a necessary end to the story. I love the way that the characters have developed through each of the episodes and I feel kinship with them all. I also do love a good underdog story. Others I have spoken to have said this has been their favourite but that is something which I will leave it up to you to decide and let me know in the comments your favourite.
